Remnants of the Lost

Life in the quiet town of Conifer was always rather uneventful. That is until a man claimed to have seen something in the woods then disappeared three days later with no trace of them had ever found. And as more and more people began to wonder what happened, so too did more people go missing. With the town on high alert, kids were told to stay safe and not get involved with the search. But that suggestion is becoming hard to ignore when a fellow classmate says they think they saw something in the woods behind the school.

EMERGENT is an investigative horror ttrpg where you play as highschoolers that discover they have superpowers and must fight interdimensional monsters, inspired by media like Stranger Things, Supernatural, and X-men. You can't win a straight fight, so players must track down the monster, examine the sites of its attacks, observe its behavior, explore its lair, and find its weaknesses--and then exploit them using their powers and ingenuity with a streamlined crafting system. Finally, engage in punchy, streamlined combat focused around teamwork and creative, cooperative use of your powers to bring it down!
