Hercules, Achilles, Superman! These names are synonymous with the very concept of Heroism. But how can we make our TTRPG characters feel heroic? In this workshop we will explore the legacy of what it means to be a hero, from the Trojan War to Campbell's famous Journey, from kings to tricksters, superhumans to hometown legends; learn how to build nuanced, interesting, and truly HEROIC characters for every TTRPG you play going forward.
This workshop will consist of a short "lecture" followed by an exercise in system-agnostic character creation.
