EMERGENT is an investigative horror ttrpg where you play as highschoolers that discover they have superpowers and must fight interdimensional monsters, inspired by media like Stranger Things, Supernatural, and X-men. You can"t win a straight fight, so players must track down the monster, examine the sites of its attacks, observe its behavior, explore its lair, and find its weaknesses--and then exploit them using their powers and ingenuity with a streamlined crafting system. Finally, engage in punchy, streamlined combat focused around teamwork and creative, cooperative use of your powers to bring it down!
