Drawn from the Wellspring (DftW) is a map-altering liminal apocalyptic action roleplaying game where you play as mutant Vergers shaping the outcome of the inevitable Flood.
This game consists of three phases:
This game consists of three phases:
- In Phase 1, Vergers investigate a location to identify a Leak, creating a grid map using a variation of the classic childhood game dots-and-boxes. Filled boxes reflect the growing influence of the Wellspring as investigation progresses.
- In Phase 2, Vergers attempt to seal the Leak and fight off entities altered by the Wellspring on the same grid map they just created, using Wellspring spaces to augment abilities and fuel their powers.
- In Phase 3, the Vergers deal with the aftermath of the Leak, deciding what remains, what has changed, and what is made new.
